For fifteen years, we have hauled mountains of food, gear, and people up into the mountains of Jalisco to hold camp for young people from surrounding states. God has now answered our prayers for a piece of land in which to hold camp without the tedium and complications of hunting down and renting a facility that would accommodate us.
Our vision is to use this property as a discipleship and leadership training center, a youth camp, a conference and retreat center, and a place for local churches to gather for special events.
We own the land. We have dozed the roads, dug the wells, and planted a recreation field with grass. We have started construction on our first block of four dorms. This will accommodate 72 campers with each unit housing eighteen people. We are working on a pavilion as a temporary meeting center so that we can put the property to use for Radical Camp beginning in summer 2026. We will need a permanent kitchen to feed all the hungry young people who come to camp.
We need YOU! We spend every spare cent we have from our simple missionary salary to buy bricks or mortar or a water tank. We can’t do this on our own. It is exciting to watch God bring our vision and so many prayers to life!
